Seaport Cultural District Art Walk presents a selection of wind inspired sculptures created by BCC & UMassD undergraduate students. At the June AHA! opening, one of the six pieces will be selected to receive a cash prize for Best in Show, provided by City of New Bedford thanks to the Wicked Cool Places grant. Jurors are Roger Mandle & Lindsay Mis of DATMA.
Arrive at 5pm at Moby Dick Bew Pub in downtown, New Bedford. Tour leaves at 5:15pm. We’ll meet back at the Pub at 6pm for a reception, featuring words from New Bedford’s Mayor Mitchell and the announcement of the Best in Show. Come one come all!
Seaport Cultural District Artwalk presents a selection of sculptures, curated by Jessica Bregoli, and created by students enrolled in either BCC or UMass Dartmouth. Inspired by wind, the following students have been selected for this year’s exhibition; Laura Franco , Bianca Laslo, and Paige Smiley of BCC and David Cardenas, Aleisea Guzman, Melony Poirier, Libby Smiley of UMassD.
