There is more and more emphasis on the arts in New Bedford, and one of the key organizations behind the push is DATMA, Design, Art, Technology Massachusetts.
NEW BEDFORD — For its fourth year, the Massachusetts Design Art and Technology Institute Massachusetts Design Art and Technology Institute (DATMA) will launch three new, free public art exhibitions plus numerous programs and initiatives with partners in New Bedford this summer.
The vote came after months of wrangling between the council and Mayor Jon Mitchell over the spending plan. New Bedford City Council approves close to $65 million in ARPA funding allocations.
