Thanks to “The Z,” the scent of butter is somehow filling my office air. New Bedford’s own, Zeiterion Theater has offered to feature a windy talkie at the 2019 Mayor’s Classic Movie Series. We’re excited to add another Summer Winds collaboration to our list of 2019 events.
Even a young art institute can appreciate a classic. With support from Rosemary Gill, Executive Director of Programming and Development, we’re deliberating on which film to present and our idea list is long. Do we go for cult favorite or a romantic black and white? No matter, because according to Mayor Jon Mitchell, “The classic movie series has been a popular addition to the entertainment scene in the downtown.”
We’re pleased to partner with The Z, an important cultural institution to the SouthCoast, featuring internationally known performers.
