New Bedford Symphony Orchestra Pop-up Performance

New Bedford Symphony musicians Ethan Wood, violin and Anna Griffis, viola will play duo repertoire from the 18th to 20th century with selections by Handel, Sibelius, Martinů, and others, sprinkled with some lively folk tunes and rags.

The pop-up performance will take place during July AHA! in conjuction with Water 2021 at Tonnessen Park, between the Wharfinger Building and the ferry drop-off along the working waterfront on MacArthur Drive adjacent to New Bedford’s Seaport Art Walk. The park can also be found by looking for DATMA’s Harvesters of the Deep photography kiosks along the waterfront. You’ll see the concert area will have some chairs (1st come, 1st serve), a pop-up tent, and of course, you’ll hear the musicians tuning while the crowd gathers.
