For its third year, Massachusetts Design Art & Technology Institute launches free public art exhibitions and numerous programs to reenergize a downtown community.

Highlights of DATMA’s citywide WATER 2021 series include an outdoor exhibition with portraits of fisherwomen worldwide.

The Massachusetts Design Art and Technology Institute & School for Marine Science and Technology collaborate to feature an exhibit highlighting scientific archival photography pivotal in the revival of the scallop industry.

It’s always a fun talking New Bedford with radio host, Jim Phillips at WBSM Radio 1420. It was even better this year with photographer Phil Mello on the line.

John was a gifted artist who exhibited his abstract artwork in galleries and museums in New York and New England.
